I had an amazing stay with stunning mountain views, delicious breakfast with a variety of seeded breads and warm breakfast meats. The hotel staff were attentive, polite, and helpful, especially with my late check-in and flight delays. The location was quiet and peaceful, yet with great transport connections to the city center.
Nothing.

Beautiful, quiet location near the Mariatrost church. The church is worth seeing (place of pilgrimage). The gourmet cuisine was very tasty, but has its price.
With luggage a little tedious, many stairs and long corridors. No lift.

Had a large room with a bathroom and separate toilet. View of the beautiful church also on the cemetery. The hotel is located on the outskirts of Graz. You can get into the city without a car. Walk to the bus and buy a 24 hour ticket for € 5.60. From the bus, get on the tram. Everything without problems. You don't need a car for Graz, you leave that at the hotel. Breakfast buffet good, dinner in the restaurant excellent.
Next time I'll book a room with a view of the countryside

We had a fantastic stay at this hotel! The location was perfect - it was situated on top of a nearby hill behind a beautiful Basilica, providing breathtaking views of the surrounding area. The service was top-notch, with attentive and friendly staff who made us feel right at home. The room amenities were excellent, with a well-stocked mini-bar and a flat-screen TV for our entertainment. The dining experience was exceptional, with delicious breakfasts and gorgeous evening meals. We couldn't have asked for more!
We highly recommend this place to everyone.

We had an excellent stay at Best Western Hotel Kirchenwirt. The location was amazing, and although it is not in the city centre of Graz, the direct tramway makes it very convenient (and agreeable, for the road through the hills is beautiful) to stay at this hotel. The view from the room was lovely, the room itself was large (the bathroom was huge), extremely comfortable, and perfectly clean. The other is perfect for business trips: printer, computer, early breakfast. The breakfast was excellent. The hotel staff was very helpful and nice, speaking perfect French and English too. We look forward to coming back!
The restaurant staff was quite disagreeable, except for the incredibly nice and helpful waitress who waited on us during the first breakfasts of our stay.

Beautiful, quiet location, friendly staff
The beds - at least those in my room - were simply an imposition. The mattresses and/or the slatted frame give way so that a deep hollow is created. If you value good beds and a restful sleep, you should consider this. No shortcoming, but to say: many stairs, no elevator.

Nice clean, comfortable rooms.
Four flights of stairs to get to our room and no elevator. The double bed was actually two single matresses on a single platform and the matresses had an uncomfortable ridge on the side in the middle of the bed.

Simple and functional hotel in a superb setting outside the city but within easy reach by tram. Excellent restaurant.
Restaurant expensive.

Spent an amazing Christmas at a hotel located in a quiet and beautiful location, between a stunning church/convent and a peaceful cemetery. The service provided by the staff was excellent, and the food at the restaurant was top-notch, especially when paired with the outstanding wine from the hotel. Couldn't ask for a better place to spend the holidays.
Only minor complaints, but the location might not be ideal for those without transportation, as it is a bit far from the city center. , the breakfast buffet could've been better since some of the fresh fruit was already brown, and the orange juice was not real juice.

This hotel is situated in a peaceful location near the forest with a tram stop nearby, offering easy access to the city center in approximately 20 minutes. the rooms are comfortable, and the powerful hot shower is a plus. the staff provides excellent service, making the guests feel welcome. Delicious breakfasts and dinners can be enjoyed in the restaurant or in the garden area. Free high-speed internet is available throughout the hotel. the hotel premises feature a beautiful pilgrimage church and a large car park.
One downside of this hotel is the lack of in-room tea and coffee facilities, although these are available downstairs.
